At VDL VDS, quality is central to everything we do. Our processes, production equipment and inspection systems meet the highest standards in the automotive industry. This enables us to meet the demanding requirements of automotive customers while delivering the same high standards to customers in other industries.
Quality is not created during the final inspection. It is built throughout the entire production process. That is why we combine:
By identifying deviations early, we ensure stable production and consistent product quality.
At VDL VDS, we actively support sustainable and socially responsible business practices. Sustainability is not a separate initiative. It is an integral part of our business strategy and daily operations.
We comply with international guidelines and applicable laws and regulations. We continuously work to reduce our impact on people, the environment and society. We do this in close cooperation with customers, suppliers and other partners. An important part of this is reducing emissions and making our processes and products more sustainable.
By embedding sustainability and ethical business practices throughout our organisation, we continuously improve our ESG performance. Together with our customers, we are building a future-proof manufacturing industry.
Full traceability is an essential part of our quality assurance. Our internally developed digital track & trace system records every step of the production process, from receiving raw materials to the finished product.
Materials, components, batches and storage locations are fully connected. This provides real-time insight into a product’s location, completed operations and current production status.
The complete production history remains available after delivery. This enables us to analyse data quickly and trace deviations. It also guarantees maximum transparency for our customers.
At VDL VDS, we believe quality never stands still. That is why we continuously invest in process optimisation, automation and knowledge development.
Safety & continuity
Working safely is the foundation of a stable production process. Clear procedures, regular checks and constant attention to safety protect our employees, processes and product quality.
Supply chain management
A reliable end product starts with reliable partners. We therefore regularly assess and audit our suppliers. We focus on quality, delivery reliability and continuity.
Lean & Automation
With Lean Manufacturing, smart automation solutions and advanced inspection methods, we increase efficiency and reduce waste. We achieve a stable production process at a competitive cost.
