From raw material to end product, with a single push of a button you can immediately see where your product is in our factory.

All storage locations in the factory have unique codes. With the digitized administration system, developed in-house by VDL VDS, raw materials, (sub)components, and end products can be linked to their corresponding storage location. If a part is moved, this is automatically updated in our digital system.

The status of your order is also updated automatically. You can see at any time when your product literally rolls off the conveyor belt. Even after delivery, you can still see the different stages your product has gone through in the factory.

packaging

Using our automatic packaging systems, we can immediately produce the right quantity in the specified end packaging. However, it is sometimes impossible to produce directly in the end packaging. In that case, VDL VDS offers the option of repackaging your products in the correct packaging.

VDL VDS uses customer-specific packaging. This means that the customer determines the type of packaging in which the products are delivered. VDL VDS plays an advisory role in this process, recommending the most sustainable and efficient packaging and filling level possible. Reusable packaging is therefore always preferred.

ordering

VDL VDS's advanced digital system integrates seamlessly with EDI. Production is planned and carried out based on EDI. In other words, our customers determine when their products are manufactured. Thanks to our in-house Lean Specialists, we keep stock levels to a minimum in all areas without compromising on delivery performance. Just-in-time deliveries are one of the options available.

As a one-stop shop, VDL VDS can handle the delivery of your products. We use carefully selected and certified carriers that operate in accordance with the highest quality and safety standards. International shipping is also possible.

To minimize CO2 emissions and reduce the impact on the environment, our logistics engineers advise you on the most effective and efficient mode of transport. We aim to deliver as emission-free as possible, for example by using electric transport.
