VDL VDS Technische Industrie focuses primarily on medium to large production batches. However, VDL VDS also offers its customers the flexibility to produce smaller batches, for example during the market introduction phase of your new product. This is achieved using press braking machines and various small-format presses.
As soon as the demand for your product increases, the necessary production toolings can still be designed, assembled, and maintained in-house at VDL VDS. This avoids high-risk and unnecessary investments in the initial phase of your product-life cycle. This ensures that we always produce using the most cost-efficient production method, based on your specific situation.
protoparts
If required, VDL VDS can provide you with prototype parts. Initial product concepts can be made tangible in plastic, using a 3D printer. A prototype part can also be produced from steel using conventional production methods.
Options are also available for 3D-shaped products. If necessary, we can use in-house produced prototype tools. This allows the product concept to be validated with minimal investment.
