To achieve this, car and truck manufacturers expect their suppliers to have a certified quality management system. Therefore, a norm describing the requirements for an effective quality management system for the automotive industry has been created by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF).
To be eligible as a supplier to deliver products to companies in the automotive industry, one of the requirements is to meet the standards mentioned in this norm. For this reason VDL VDS Technische Industrie possesses an IATF 16949 certification.
IATF 16949 as a common thread through our company'
Because the focus of VDL VDS is on companies active in the automotive industry, our entire business process is designed to meet the strict quality requirements of IATF 16949. This automatically means that the products supplied to other market segments are also produced according to this standard, and therefore produced according to 'automotive quality'. VDL VDS therefore guarantees the best possible quality. The certificate runs as a common thread through our company.
Measuring with precision
High-quality products require state-of-the-art and comprehensive measurement facilities. In the field of measuring techniques, the best applications are considered for each project individually. With a team of young, dynamic and carefully trained quality engineers , the quality of the manufactured parts is guaranteed. This also ensures that customer-specific requirements are met. 'State-of-the-art' measuring facilities are used in this process
VDL VDS also develops a product-specific measuring jig for each product. These jigs are used in the factory by our operator directly at the machine. By regularly measuring the produced workpieces possible problems are immediately addressed and solved.

Our safety officer ensures that internal safety requirements are defined and constantly tested, practiced and improved. This ensures compliance with applicable regulations with the necessary extra attention and care for employees and other people involved.
